The short version
- This is a Roblox roleplay group. Nothing here is a real authority or official document.
- Sign in with your own Discord account. What you can see follows your roles.
- Be honest: no fake patrols, no impersonation, no poking at security.
- Staff and oversight: what you see about others stays inside and is for KMar business only.
- Volunteers run this, so it comes without guarantees.
The full text below is what counts. Every section starts with a one-line summary.
01
About these terms
In shortThese rules apply when you use our website, portal or bot.
These terms apply to nldkmar.com, the KMar Portal (nldkmar.com/portal) and the KMar_Utilities Discord bot (together, “the services”), run by the Command Council of the [NLD] Koninklijke Marechaussee (“KMar”, “we”).
By signing in to the portal or using the bot you agree to these terms. Our privacy notice explains how we handle information.
02
It’s a game
In shortEverything here is roleplay. Nothing is a real authority.
The KMar is a roleplay group on Roblox. It is not affiliated with the Dutch government, the Ministry of Defence or the real Royal Netherlands Marechaussee, and is not endorsed by Roblox or Discord.
All ranks, units, orders, records and “legal” wording in the services are part of the game. They have no real-world authority, and must never be presented as real.
03
Your account and access
In shortYou sign in with your own Discord account. Access follows your roles and can change.
- You sign in with Discord. Only use your own account, and don’t share access with anyone.
- What you can see and do depends on your roles in the KMar Discord server and your rank. It changes automatically when your roles change.
- We may limit or remove access at any time, for example if you leave the group or break these terms.
04
Using the services
In shortBe honest, don’t break things, don’t pretend to be someone else.
When using the services you must not:
- log patrols you didn’t do, inflate times, or log for someone else;
- pretend to be another member, or set names meant to be mistaken for someone else;
- file false or malicious reports to Internal Affairs or the TCI tipline;
- write record notes about anything other than in-game conduct, or notes that are insulting or untrue;
- try to get access you weren’t given, test or bypass security, or overload the services;
- scrape or copy data in bulk, or use bots or scripts against the portal;
- post anything unlawful, hateful or harassing, or other people’s personal information.
Found a bug or a security problem? Tell the Command Council privately rather than using it.
05
If you have staff, NCO or oversight access
In shortWhat you see about other members stays inside. It’s for KMar business only.
Staff, NCOs and oversight can see information about other members, including discipline records and leave reasons. If you have this access:
- use it only for KMar duties;
- don’t share it, screenshot it or discuss it outside the people who need to know;
- be fair and accurate in everything you record about someone, because they can read their own record;
- oversight access is read-only; don’t ask others to make changes on your behalf to get around that.
Misusing this access is a serious breach and will lead to losing it, and may lead to discipline.
06
Group rules and discipline
In shortThe KMar handbook and regulations still apply. Records here follow them.
Being in the KMar means following the Information Handbook, the Academy Regulations and the rules of the wider [NLD] community. The portal records how those rules are applied, but it doesn’t replace them.
If you disagree with a discipline decision, use the appeal route given to you with that decision.
07
What you submit
In shortYou’re responsible for what you write, and we may edit or remove it.
You are responsible for what you submit, such as patrol notes, LOA reasons and requests. Keep it accurate and keep personal real-life details out of it.
You allow us to store, show and use it within the group for the purposes described in the privacy notice. We may correct or remove content that is wrong or breaks these terms.
08
No guarantees
In shortVolunteers run this. It may change, break or stop.
The services are run by volunteers and provided “as is”. They may be unavailable, contain mistakes, or be changed or discontinued at any time without notice.
As far as the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from using the services. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under the law that can’t be excluded.
09
Changes to these terms
In shortIf they change, the date at the top changes, and big changes are announced in Discord.
We may update these terms. The version and date are shown at the top and in the contents, and significant changes are announced in the KMar Discord server. If you keep using the services after a change, the new terms apply.
